My creations are all based on travel experiences from around the globe.

Some may call for my spice blends, which will be as easy as 1,2,3

Food-purity is of the utmost importance so of course these recipes will be made with mostly organic ingredients.

Local, seasonal, ethically sourced, nose-to-tail, and sustainable Ocean will be mentioned quite often but do not be overwhelmed. We can only do the best we can with what we have access to. Just start with a basic philosophy and strive for the best you can do, before too long you will notice you are thinking seriously before making purchases.

I love to envision the farmer’s life when I choose ingredients. Learn as much as you can, ask questions often, and really speak to your producer when you encounter them. Visit farmers markets whenever possible, if there is a fisherman’s wharf close by go check it out. These producers are very knowledgeable and are always happy to talk about their life’s work. Farmers and producers at the marketplaces are very concerned about sustainability and real food; they more than any corporation are the truth-bearers.

Most of the “Other Recipes” can be made gluten-free. I will suggest alternatives if that is the case.

Gluten-free recipes will always be created for people suffering from Celiac disease.

Vegetarian and Vegan recipes will be clearly noted.

You will find really cool and interesting recipes here. You will learn how to survive without prepared foods. Every single thing can be made from scratch and kept from month, even years, in your fridge and pantry.

I always dream of living like the old days when women used to get together seasonally to grow, reap, prepare and can food for their families. Oh Greece, you call to my heart always and forever.
