Albatross Music Festival To Take Place September 14th & 15th At Hastings Race Course.
The line-up will showcase an array of international artists from the United States, Canada, Korea, China and Taiwan. A wide range of genres will be represented at the festival – from indie rock and hip-hop to reggae and folk. Edison Chen, Melo, Nair, Queen, A Si, Eric Chou, Hyukoh, Matzka, Una, Delhi2Dublin, Elise Estrada, Wanting, Ma Di, and Far East Movement and more.
“My vision for Albatross Music Festival is to cater to Vancouverites who have two homes on either side of the Pacific Ocean.” Sammi Wei, founder & CEO of MUBI Entertainment Management Group Inc. explains, “Alb [the festival’s mascot] represents the king of the seabirds, the albatross, who migrates back and forth between the east and west coast of the Pacific.”
Albatross Music Festival is led by MUBI Entertainment Management Group Inc., a professional entertainment production and creative agency based in Vancouver who curates, produces, and promotes live entertainment to audiences of all backgrounds. From theatres to arenas to the outdoors, the group creates exciting shared experiences for Vancouverites who are passionate about music and the performing arts. Founded by Chinese Canadians, the members of MUBI gathered their years of collective industry experience and strategic partner resources for a seamless operation between the West and East coasts of Canada. For this event, MUBI joined forces with Modern Sky Entertainment, mainland China’s leading music entertainment company who produces 15+ large-scale music festivals in China, NYC, L.A., Seattle, and Helsinki. With an expected audience of 20,000, tickets will start at $99, with exclusive VIP packages and two-day pass upgrade options available.
