6 weird places around world will blow your mind

We all want to go places, experience landscapes and do other stuffs. But what if your travelling destination is haunted or weird enough to be seen or experienced?  Talking of weird here are the 6 most weird places which you might wish to avoid or experience anyway..

Yonaguni Monument, Japan

It is also known as Yonaguni (Island) Submarine Ruins. It is the place under water off the coast of Yonaguni which is the southernmost of the Ryukyu Islands, in Japan. The surprising thing about this place is a striking underwater rock formation which has staircase-like terraces with flat sides and sharp corners.  Geologists studied this place and estimated the ruins to be five thousand years old. It is believed that these carvings are man-made. Now the question arises that how and why did ‘they’ do it?

Aokigahara Forest, Japan

Aokigahara Forest situated on the foot of Mount Fuji is the weird place in known as ‘Suicide Forest’. It is estimated that as many as as 100 people a year have successfully killed themselves there. The trees are too tightly packed that this place is also known as ‘sea of trees.’

Isla de las Munecas, Mexico

This island in Mexico is known as the ‘island of dolls’ as thousands of creepy toys hang from the trees. Don Julian Santana, a caretaker lived here on the island alone & found body of a young girl who got drowned there. He believed that her tortured spirit was haunting it. So he decided to spend his life paying her tribute by hanging mutilated dolls across the island.

Death Valley, California

A deserted valley located in eastern California is the hottest are in North America. Death Valley is about 140 miles long is among one of the hottest places on earth. The most unusual things in Death Valley is sailing stones. These stones can slide or move in a particular track without the help of animals or humans.

Blood Falls, Antarctica

Blood falls is a waterfall which flaws from the Taylor glaciers with blood- red hue. Geologists have found high level of iron oxide in West Lake Bonney located in the area. What is more surprising is that all that iron, microorganisms are able to survive at a depth of 1300 feet under the ice.

The Catacombs, Paris

The catacombs of Paris are underground ossuaries. It is said that it holds remains of over six million dead people. By the 17th century, cemeteries were overflowing so the solution arose to place them in the centuries-old tunnels which existed beneath the streets. That’s how this huge cemetery came into existence beneath the city of lights – Paris.
